Fregrant green to purple-ish leaves give way to purple flowers on tall stalks. Ubiquitous in its use as an addition to Vietnamese pho, it is also used extensively in ayurvedic and western herbalsim. Holy Basil (Tulsi) is easy to grow in the garden or pots in full sun. Pinch back regularly to stimulate new bushy growth.
